What is the Low-temperature burn?
Not only in warmers, but body temperature causes erythema or blisters etc, when applied heating element higher than body temperature for many hours. Also, it may lead to low-temperature burns without causing notice symptoms.
The Heat generated from a warmer is normally carried through body by blood flow, but if the place using the warmer is compressed by wearing girdles or using warmer while sleeping, a flow of blood will be interrupted and becomes hard to spread the heat. Therefore, the skin surface temperature rises too much and makes it easier to cause low-temperature burns. If you get “Low-temperature burns,” please see a doctor immediately.
