Since its foundation in 1904, our company Mycoal has continuously delivering products to our customers as our motto “Provide products for warming and health.”
The demands and values of the concept to warm up body expand widely and penetrate the market year after year. We appreciate our consumers and consumers supporting our products.
We are making a new Mycoal product for the centennial of establishment in 2004 and for further challenge in the favor externals.
Human beings have been facing the environmental problems on earth such as the CO2 emissions recently. Knowing that, our company contributes to our society through manufacturing products for” well-treated people” and “environment-friendly”
Our mission is to develop, manufacture and supply “Warm-Cold-Heat products” with environmental friendly in order not to waste the CO2 emission gas to the environment. We are also aiming at line-up of not only the main warmers but also new products, and we are trying to reach to a further market expansion by our latest products.
In order to deliver better products and to meet our customers’ needs, we always keep the tradition of faithfulness, creation, and efforts and we are constantly striving to improve the quality of our products. Being a company that major in health products, we will do our best to go on competing and progressing not only in Japan, but also all over the world.

History of Mycoal
September 1904
- Shoichi Usui established the business in manufacturing ash mainly from hemp husk ash for body warmer in Kuno, Kiyosu village (currently Awano town), Kami-Tsuga district, Tochigi prefecture.
September 1931
- Commenced manufacture ash products for body warmers
December 1949
- Established Kamiya Shoten Ltd. with the capital fund of one million JPY
- Genchi Usui acceded to the Executive Managing Director of the company and Yasumasa Usui acceded to the Senior Managing Director
- Launched Kamiya ash
July 1957
- Relocated headquarters from Awano-cho to Showa-cho, To Tochigi city and Tokyo sales office was opened.
September 1961
- Launched Mycoal Anka ash (foot warmer ash) and Anka equipment
September 1963
- Launched Mycoal Kairo (warmer), a body warmer stick, made with glass fiber and dedicated fuel Mycoal
